I really love making a cup of hot chocolate from my favourite Lindt Excellence Sea Salt Dark Chocolate bar. It tastes absolutely amazing and very very easy to make.
Serves: 1 cup
200 ml of milk of your choice
20 g of your favourite chocolate bar, chopped (I used Lindt Excellence Sea Salt Dark Chocolate)
1 – 2 tsp of honey/maple syrup (optional, depending on the sweetness of your chocolate)
- Microwave the milk for about 2 – 2 ½ minutes (make sure it’s hot enough to melt the chocolate)
- Add chopped chocolate into the hot milk and give it a good stir until blended.
- Alternatively, you can also heat your milk in a pan over a medium heat for about 5 minutes. Then, add the chocolate and stir.
- Add honey or maple syrup. Then, taste to see if you prefer more sweetness, and add as needed.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
